Simon Preissinger is a German cinematographer based in Munich, working across feature films, television series and streaming productions.

With more than 18 years of experience in the film industry, his career began in narrative filmmaking, where he spent many years working as a focus puller on major national and international productions before transitioning into cinematography.

Today, he works as a Director of Photography, 2nd Unit DP and Camera Operator for feature films, television series and streaming productions.

At the heart of his work lies a strong commitment to character-driven storytelling and the creation of cinematic worlds that feel authentic, immersive and emotionally resonant. Working closely with directors, actors and creative teams, he develops visual concepts that support the emotional core of a story while remaining grounded in performance and atmosphere.

Drawing on experience from both independent productions and large-scale international projects, Simon combines visual precision with a strong focus on narrative, character and emotion.
